The Northern California Division’s Pharmacy Operations Department, located in Pleasanton, California, has an opening for a Regional Pharmacy Manager, to be based in Hawaii.
Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist required. Experience as a Pharmacist-In-Charge or Pharmacy Manager preferred. Knowledge of Safeway Pharmacy practices, including inventory control, third party programs generic usage. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills. Leadership skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. Good computer skills.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Will be responsible for operation of up to 35 Pharmacies including: Customer service, sales, expense control, gross margin, staffing/recruiting, training and development, budgeting. Recommend and supervise pharmacy department programs to meet sales objectives and increase prescription volume. Ensure that pharmacy department marketing programs are implemented to increase pharmacy department sales. Train, advise and instruct pharmacy managers and staff on best practices. Ensure compliance to all state, federal, and company policies and procedures. Monitor compliance to acceptable inventory levels and re-engineered workflow. Ensure emergency staffing needs are met. Review overall compliance to labor model. Mentor pharmacy manager on financial reports and responsibilities. Develop future pharmacy managers/leaders.
