Basic computer knowledge/skill in Microsoft Windows

POSITION SUMMARY: Correctly prepares and fills medication orders written by physicians. Performs drug information and consults with patient care staff and physicians on medication usage. Reviews the work of the technicians for the accuracy and correctness of medication filling.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of Pharmacy.

MINIMUM FIELD-OF-EXPERTISE: Demonstrated good communication and mathematical skills. Possesses hospital pharmacy skills.Competent Computer Skills

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION: Current Pharmacist Hawaii State licensure.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Hospital pharmacy background.Retail pharmacy experience if working in retail pharmacy.
