THIS ASSIGNMENT WILL BE TO DEVELOP WORKFLOW PLANS, HIRE STAFF, PREPARE DEPARTMENT FOR OPENING, ETC., FOR A 135-BED FA! CILITY OPENING IN MARCH 2014.
Manages and supervises the day-to-day administration, management, coordination and integration of services, programs, and activities of the Pharmacy Services Department.
Ensures programs, services and activities support strategic plans, and the goals and objectives of The Queen’s Medical Center - West Oahu (QMC â€" West Oahu).
Ensures operations and functions are in compliance with regulatory requirements and the policies and procedures of the Medical Center.
Collaborates and coordinates functions, services and operations to ensure alignment with Pharmacy Services at The Queen’s Medical Center (QMC).
Current Hawaii state license as a Pharmacist.
Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
Five (5) years clinical experience as a hospital Pharmacist, preferably in a comparable facility.
Two (2) years supervisory or leadership experience (e.g. responsibility for major project(s).!
