The Pharmacy department is responsible for compounding and dispensing pharmaceuticals, supplies, medications and large-to-small volume parenterals, as well as providing drug information and education. We strive to! ensure that our patients and clients receive safe and effecti! ve medication by applying the highest standards of modern pharmaceutical care.
As the Clinical Pharmacist, you will help to ensure that our Pharmacy provides outstanding pharmaceutical services to Kapi‘olani patients and their families. In this role, you will oversee the appropriate use of drugs in our health care practice by evaluating drug/dosage patterns and potential adverse drug reactions, and providing accurate information to medical, nursing and pharmacy staff. We are looking for someone meticulous with a demonstrated interest in pharmaceutical investigation, excellent customer service and communication skills and a commitment to our vision of delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people. Two (2) years inpatient pharmacy or r! elated experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Pharmacy Doctorate degree and pharmacy residency training. Clinical pharmacist experience.
