Cloud Data Architect – Data & Analytics

Your contribution and background
We are looking for Cloud Data Architect for design and development of cloud data solutions to join our Health & Care projects. You will have a key role in developing and designing services and solutions for eg. our Tietoevry Data Platform in Azure and Big Data environment. You will be working in a heterogenous teams consisting of top-level developers and customers’ experts. Your tasks and assignments would be jointly tailored according to your background and interests.
We expect you to have:
- Proven skills in the area of cloud and data-driven solutions and hands-on experience in implementing and using cloud and big data related technologies.
- Passion to innovate and design new products and help customers to find best possible solutions to their needs. You have worked with consultative approach in customer front.
- Demonstrated ability to lead development teams and deliver results.
- Proven skills in the latest cloud platform technologies, preferably Azure
- Knowledge of the major big data solutions like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Databricks, Kafka and Delta Lake.
- You have understanding of Data Warehouse, Data Lake and Data Lakehouse as solutions and how apply
- Preferably you have experience working in technical roles in complex product development and experience in delivering SW products to customers
- You have SW development background including preferably Python and Scala, Terraform knowledge is a plus
- Health and care domain experience or knowledge is an advantage
- Strong willingness to learn, improve and explore
- Confidence to take responsibility, honesty and openness as a member of a team
We are often working from different places, sites and countries so we expect communications skills and habits in English and Finnish as mandatory.
