Your Opportunity
As a Parcel Sorter you will assist with the safe handling of freight, achieve target delivery goals and strive to provide an on-time, damage free service.
To be successful in this role, you will be physically fit, have excellent customer service skills and have some experience working with freight.
What you’ll bring to this role
To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience:
As the Parcel Sorter, you will:
- Load and Unload freight
- Ensure all freight is properly identified
- Make sure all freight is scanned correctly
- Ensure documentation accompanying freight is complete
- Action bay labels, re-stacking of damaged freight, protecting leaking product
About you:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience in the freight handling industry and/or experience in loading or unloading cargo would definitely be an advantage.
- Has the ability to communicate within a team environment
- The ability to think on your feet
- A positive approach to an active Health & Safety role in the workplace
