In charge of leading a pluridisciplinary team of researchers and technicians with strong practical and empiric approachThis team is the production R&D core of Entobel and is divided in several sub R&D departments including: microbiology - fermentation, genetics production systems, BSF (Black Soldier Fly) feed formulation and nutrition,
The R&D Manager will be in charge of planning, coordinating and supervising the key R&D progs with each sub department head/Entobel advisors
Set up objectives, timelines and report outcomes
Objectives will always be related to measurable key economic parameters Should be very familiar with FCR, least cost formulation, etc.
Liaise with new and existing external R&D partners to leverage resources and capabilities, coordinate external trials and build R&D ecosystem (academic and private partners)
Ultimately the main objective of this position is to understand how to make BSF production more competitive and implement it at scale!
2. Key Requirements:
5+ years experience leading R&D Projects in the animal feed / animal husbandry industry
Min Master's Degree in Animal Nutrition and/or Animal Husbandry
Strong focus in applied research with industrial applicability
Experience with feed trials with several species is a plus \
HANDS ON : Entobel is very practical and believe in Learning by Doing, we expect the R&D Manager to be involved on the field with its team and follow closely all trials taking place at Dong Nai site on the daily
Relocation in Dong Nai is a must
Strong academic writing skills (in English)
Good communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
Metric driven
Proficient in MS Office
Proficient with statistical and data analysis tools
