Description: University of Hawaii at Hilo is employing Junior, Assistant, Associate or Full Specialist (Clinical Track Faculty) right now, this vacancy will be dwelled in Hawaii. Contribute to the Pharm.D. curriculum and precept students on clerkship rotations, serve as a fac! ulty mentor for students, and serve on College of Pharmacy committees. Establish a practice site in an acute care setting, an ambulatory care clinic or in community practice; building and maintaining relationships with physicians, administration, and staff; improving system functions; assists in the teaching of pharmacy students. Engage in college, university, and community professional service.

Minimum Qualifications:
Junior Specialist Minimum Qualifications: Eligible for pharmacist licensure in the State of Hawaiʻi. Bachelors of Science or Doctoral degree in a pharmacy-related discipline from an accredited college or university. Successful completion of a PGY1 residency or equivalent clinical experience (2-3 years); ability to communicate clearly in experiential teaching settings and in the context of other student and faculty interactions; ability to develop and maintain a clinical practice site. Assistant Specialist Minimum Qualifications: In! addition to the Junior Specialist as stated above; minimum of! three (3) years of full-time clinical practice experience. Associate Specialist Minimum Qualifications: In addition to the Assistant Specialist as stated above; documentation of prior mentoring or teaching experience, scholarly and/or creative contributions and service to the academic life of a college and at least five years related experience at Assistant Specialist level or equivalent at current job assignment. Specialist Minimum Qualifications: In addition to the Associate Specialist as stated above; documentation of high quality mentoring or teaching performance, high quality scholarly and/or creative contributions and service to the academic life of a college, with at least five years related experience at Associate Specialist level or equivalent at current job assignment and demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, faculty, staff and practice site colleagues, patients and management.

Desirable Qualifications:
Successful completion ! of a PGY2 residency program. Completion of a Masters of Science degree in a pharmacy-related discipline. Prior teaching experience in a Pharm.D. program and/or precepting Pharm.D. students. Knowledge of the accreditation standards of the Accreditation Council for Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE). Participation in scholarly activities including collaborative clinical research.

Pay Range:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
