The Pharmacist is responsible for all functions in the Pharmacy relative to the procurement, dispensing, preparation, inventory of medications, and providing advi! ce and information regarding medications, to the hospital staff and patients as required. The Pharmacist is a supervisor to the Pharmacy Technicians, and responsible for all medications dispensed to the inpatients and outpatients. The Pharmacist is in charge of daily operations of the Pharmacy Department and assigned intermittent program and compliance functions.
IV, Chemo, TPN, Aminoglycosides, Renal Dosing
Current Registered Pharmacist license
Hospital clinical training or equivalent experience
One year experience as a hospital pharmacist with sufficient experience to be responsible for intravenous additive service and unit dose distribution system
Sufficient knowledge to provide drug information consulting for the medical and nursing staff, and hospital patients
Ability to work under stressful conditions with frequent interruptions
