The Medicare Clinical Operations Representative! will assist the Medicare Clinical Operations staff (pharmacists and representatives) in all aspects of the Medicare coverage determination and re-determination (appeal) process, including workflow management and direct communication to all applicable parties (internal and external). Daily tasks, assignments, and general directives are coordinated and implemented by the Lead under the direction of the Supervisor and/or Director of Clinical Operations. The representative will provide optimal customer service (internal and external) within applicable departmental and local and federal regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications:
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with physicians, nurses, pharmacists and patients regarding the coverage determination and re-determination (appeal) process and decision outcome (favorable and unfavorable) with empathy and professionalism Strong data entry skills and experience operating in Windows and web-based applications; Sup! erior communication, organization, and prioritization skills P! referred Qualifications:
Oral/written communications, data entry, MS Office, Software skills; Knowledge of third party insurance and payment options; Retail pharmacy experience; Knowledge of medical and drug terminology and pharmaceutical calculations Education:
High school diploma or verifiable graduate equivalent degree; National Pharmacy Technician certification preferred, but not required Business Overview:
