Current Need
Our Honolulu Distribution Center is looking for an Operations Supervisor who will oversee day shift warehouse operations as well as the computer room operations.
Position Description
As an Operations Supervisor on our team, you’ll need to deliver. The responsibility for keeping our distribution and supply chain operating smoothly will be on your shoulders. From training to problem solving to maintaining equipment, your work w! ill help save lives. Specifically, we need you to:
help plan and direct operations
keep morale and work standards high
train and manage your team
control expenses
control employee turnover and overtime hours
make sure equipment and housekeeping are exceptional
The Honolulu day shift Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the day shift warehouse operations and the operations of the distribution center computer room. Duties include:
Ensuring the operation for both the computer room and distribution center is in accordance with established procedures and practices.
Monitoring performance of computing equipment, coordinating equipment installation and delivery schedules.
Supervising day shift operations in the distribution center (primarily receiving, put away of products)
May recommend computer operation expansion based on current and projected activity.

Minimum Requirements 5+ years operational experience including 2+ years managerial experience
Critical Skills
2+ years of supervisory experience in distribution/operations
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of AS400, SAP
Skilled in coaching, evaluation, discipline, interviewing, scheduling, and recordkeeping
Proactive experience dealing with disciplining and developing employees
Additional Knowledge & Skills
Thorough knowledge of Operations Management
Excellent organizational skills
1+ years of experience with computerized inventory control system
Microsoft Word, E! xcel, and Access
One year experience with a computerized inventory control system.
Analytical skills
Passion to perform
Education
4-year degree or additional equivalent experience
Physical Requirements
General Office Demands
This position may have 24x7 on call responsibility and has responsibility for ensuring systems availability.
