Being a member of our Advisory team means you will specialize in a particular competency - Risk, Performance Improvement, or IT Risk Assurance. Our Performance Improvement team is focused on helping clients improve business performance and operational efficiency while managing risk.
We help clients by deliveri! ng assessment, transformation and process efficiency solutions! in specialty areas like operations, finance, supply chain, healthcare, customer, people and organization change, strategic direction, and program management. We are growing our Advisory practice to support both providers and payers with addressing challenges faced by the healthcare industry. Our healthcare advisory team focuses on providing advisory services in the following areas to address key Senior Leadership issues revenue cycle, reimbursementregulatory, Medicare and Medicaid compliance and operations, finance transformation, clinical transformation, supply chain, pharmacy benefit management operations, managed care-provider and managed care-payer operations. Our Advisory Performance Improvement staff work collaboratively with health care providers (academic medical centers, not-for-profit, for profit, non-profit), clinicians (physicians, nurses, pharmacists), hospital and health plan executives, to help them in their efforts to improve margins without sacrificing qua! lity of care.
We strategize with our clients to create an infrastructure that enables sustainable, measureable improvement in an uncertain time of regulatory reform. Our healthcare advisory team is comprised of clinicians, health plan and health system executives who have worked in the industry leading and directing changes within all facets of a healthcare organization. Responsibilities Establish relationships with client personnel at appropriate levels. Consistently deliver exceptional quality client services.
Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client39s business. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities, industry acumen and professional consulting knowledge. Demonstrate ability to assimilate to new knowledge, processes and industry trends.
Possess good business acumen. Remain current on new developments in advisory services capabilities and industry knowledge. Qualifications To qualify, candidates must have a bachelor39s degree and approximately 2 years of related work experience or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience a degree with an emphasis in Health Administration, Health Information, Finance, andor Business a! graduate degree (MBA, MHA, MPH) is desirable approximately 1-2 years of healthcare advisoryconsulting experience in a consulting firm, or in industry is desirable ability to examine the efficiency, profits and structure of an organization certifications in healthcare related fields is a plus capability to demonstrate Project Management experience, including creating work plans, budgets, and goal settingbenchmarks experience with healthcare organization, Mergers and Acquisitions, physician alignment, or financial margin improvement initiatives ability to conduct client interviews and facilitate client meetings capability to manage large, confidential and complex data sets and able to manage data within Access database aptitude to design deliverable content to reflect the engagement contract ability to present findings and recommendations to client leadership in a clear and concise manner characteristics of a forward thinker and self motivator that thrives on new challenges ! and adapts to learning new knowledge strong decision making, problem-so! lving skills and ability to adapt and learn analytic methodology excellent oral and written communicationpresentation skills a strong work ethic with ability to grow and flex, as industry trends and Ernst Young business dictates a history of driving revenue within existing clients and in developing new prospects at the "C" level of Fortune 500 companies ability to work collaboratively in a team environment a willingness to travel to meet client needs travel is estimated at 80 a valid driver39s license in the US Access, C, Consulting, Database, Development, IT, Management, Performance, Project, Project Management, Quality, Supply Chain, System
