We are currently recruiting for a driven Automotive background Network Support Specialist that has proven experience working within the production environment and has the capability of supporting the manager with networking, programming, fault finding and training users.
As a IT Network Support Specialist you will be encouraged to take ownership and be responsible for the below tasks:
- Supporting the Team Leader to ensure a smooth IT application process across the facility.
- Managing access rights and setting up the applications.
- Managing and conducting regular checkpoints with users.
- Training users with standards according to company requirements.
- Providing 1st level support to the users and helping with crisis resolution during critical times.
- Taking into account user’s needs and reporting to the management team.
- Coordinating all the fall-back strategies on the IT applications.
- Reporting KPI's to ensure good use of the applications and of IT materials.
- Managing actions plans in order to optimize or increase the reliability of the IT applications.
- Recording and monitoring the usage of end users industrial materials.
- Participating in regular meetings with the Lead Engineers from all plants.
- Performing tests and validating the tests results from the IT applications.
- Planning and managing the applications upgrades with IT and other stakeholders involved.
- Informing users about new application versions and perform the training about the new changes.
- Synchronising the versions planning with users, plant and IT.
- Working closely with the Lead Engineers during the migration phase and all the launch activities.
- Degree or equivalent qualification in a software- related discipline.
- Previous proven experience in a similar role.
- Proven background experience within production/manufacturing environment.
- Proficient/Super User experience in HMI and Scada.
- Previous experience with troubleshooting and fault finding.
- Trained and basic experience in PLC Programming (Rockwell).
- Experience and understanding of how PLC programs communicate and work.
- Experience in IT Applications within the production environment.
- Good understanding of network communications.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent reporting and introducing/support best practices for lessons learnt activities.
- MS Packages experienced.
