We are seeking a talented service engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, deployment, and service of software and hardware systems at our customers' vertical farms.
We are a fast-growing robotics startup that has developed the autonomous mobile robot “Watney”. Watney automates labor-intensive transportation and monitoring tasks to help vertical farms become profitable, scalable, and sustainable.
Responsibilities:
Install, commission, and maintain a wide range of equipment and systems
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with equipment and systems
Test new functionality and features in the field
You will travel a lot to customer sites primarily in Europe and potentially in Middle East and North America
Communicate with clients and Seasony engineers to ensure services are delivered effectively
Repair and replace faulty components as needed
Provide technical support and provide feedback to clients
Maintain accurate records of service and maintenance work
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Update user manuals regularly based on learnings in the field
Conduct QA and safety checks of robots at HQ and in the field
Requirements:
Associates or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Ability to use diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
You have a very high willingness to travel, both nationally and internationally
You have a class B driver’s license valid in Europe
