Position: Housekeeping Supervisor
Working Location: Orchard
Salary: $2500 - $3800
Duties and Supporting Responsibilities
- Ensuring that linen room attendants come in the right shift and be punctual.
- Communicate with subordinate on a daily basis.
- Supervision of all linen room operation procedures.
- Report of any irregularities to California Laundry.
- To conduct half yearly inventory on Rooms & F&B linens.
- Assist in the checking of new uniform and linen that are delivered.
- Test wash new linen and uniform before purchase.
- Assist Manager in daily Housekeeping activities.
- Monitor supply levels in storage/pantry.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness level conforms to hotel standards.
- Prepare and distribute assignment sheets to staff and review priorities.
- Monitor turnover of rooms to ensure housekeeping efficiency.
- Maintain a section floor report
Requirement
- Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management or other relevant qualification is preferred.
- Commitment to work rotating shift and any day, including weekends and public holidays.
- Meticulous with strong attention to details with good follow-up.
- Experience in operations and manpower management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application for reports and preparation of presentation slides for monthly meeting.
- Able to be a team player to assist the management team on the required inspections and reports.
