Lush part of Searcys is looking for Event Driving Porter to work on a number of events based around London and other locations outside of London such as Windsor, Silverstone etc.
As a 360 role, the Event Driving Porter will be involved in all aspects of the events. A full UK driving licence is vital as you will be responsible for delivering food and equipment to our events to the right place at the right time. You will be involved in the back of house logistics, supporting the managers and chefs with the set up and close down.
This role is perfect for someone who has an interest in hospitality and catering logistics as this role has the potential to develop into other roles in our business.
Job Type: Part time/Full time
Hourly Rate: £18.00ph plus holiday pay paid on top
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering food and equipment to event spaces.
- Regular driving duties across London venues.
- Physical manual handling of equipment.
- Assisting with events both Back of House and Front of House where needed.
- Assisting the warehouse team.
- Working across multiple locations.
- Must have a full, clean, manual UK Driving Licence
- Must be able to drive up to a 3.5 tonne vehicle
- Experience with driving in London (desirable)
- Be physically able to do manual handling (lifting and carrying)
- Enjoys working in a team
- Previous Hospitality experience
- Personable, responsible and reliable
